MJB STORY
MJB was founded by Michelle Sawka (formerly Bivona) — Coatesville Softball Hall of Fame Inductee (2019), a former World Series Division II student athlete at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a loving mother of three children. Graduating in 2011 with a degree in Sports Administration, Michelle started all four years of her career pitching, 3rd base and outfield. All while earning PSAC 1st team and NFCA 2nd team honors for her efforts.
MJB Performance was established with focus on increasing community softball participation and increase youth female athlete’s skills, knowledge and confidence.

MJB owner, Michelle Sawka, honored to have been nominated into the Coatesville Sports Hall of Fame for her outstanding softball career. Michelle was the graduating class of 2007. The official hall of fame induction ceremony is on Oct 19th at Coatesville Country Club.

“When my daughter first started pitching lessons, she was learning how to throw her fast balls “down the middle”. After a year and a half of lessons and four additional pitches, she is able to “avoid throwing it down the middle” in order to keep skilled hitters off of the bases. Without these lessons she wouldn’t be able to continue to pitch at the travel ball level. Well worth the time and money!”
