What are the membership plans available?
We offer four types of membership plans: ‘Single’, ‘Double’, ‘Triple’, and ‘Home Run’, each with varying benefits and features.
What do 'credits' mean in the membership plan?
Credits can be used to book training slots, lessons, and other amenities. The number of credits you get depends on your chosen membership plan.
How does the payment work for the memberships?
We’re currently opening with options for 3, 6, and 12-month durations with more perks and higher discounts for longer durations memberships. 50% of the total membership fee is required upfront for all durations. After 50% payment, the remaining balance will be divided by the months of your duration choice and paid monthly automatically via our membership software.
What is the minimum membership duration?
The minimum membership duration is 3 months. Options for 6 and 12 months are also available, with better value and pricing benefits for longer commitments.
What happens if I miss a session?
Sessions are to be booked and canceled at least 8 hours in advance to retain your session credit. Cancellations within 8 hours of the session result in the loss of the credit.
Are the memberships refundable?
No, memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What if a session is canceled by MJB?
If MJB Sports Performance cancels a session, you will be notified and can use your credits at alternative session times.
What is the 'Bring a Friend' feature?
The ‘Bring a Friend’ feature allows you to bring a guest to certain training sessions and cage rentals, subject to space and equipment availability. Your guest will need to sign a liability WAIVER.
What is the 'Technology Package'?
The Technology Package includes access to advanced tools like Rapsodo and HitTrax to enhance your training sessions. Available only with ‘Triple’ and ‘Home Run’ plans.
Is gym access included in the membership?
Open gym access is included in the ‘Triple’ and ‘Home Run’ membership plans. It can also be purchased without membership.
What are the open gym times, and how can I ensure availability?
Our open gym times are designed to provide ample flexibility for our members. You can access the gym from 3 PM to 9 PM on weekdays (during school year) and 9 AM to 9 PM on weekends. However, to ensure the best experience, it’s crucial to check in advance for any scheduled classes during your desired gym time. While the gym is mostly open for members, certain slots may be reserved for private training sessions. It’s always recommended to verify availability through our scheduling software or by contacting our team.
How do I schedule my training sessions?
Training sessions must be booked through our proprietary scheduling software. Booking well in advance is encouraged.
What is the Evaluation Session?
An initial evaluation session is mandatory for all new members to help tailor the coaching plan to individual needs. Memberships require booking of initial evaluation and consultation. 9-12 Year Old Evaluation Appointment — 13-18 Year Old Evaluation Appointment
How do the credits replenish?
All membership credits are replenished monthly and are valid for use within that billing cycle only. Unused credits cannot be rolled over to subsequent months.
What are the member responsibilities?
Members are expected to adhere to the facility’s rules and guidelines, including proper use of equipment and amenities.
What is the age restriction policy?
Members aged 12 and under are restricted from participating in advanced training sessions designated for older age groups. This upheld by the scheduling software which will ask age when booking.
I don't play softball or baseball; can I still train at MJB?
Absolutely! MJB Sports Performance is not limited to baseball and softball athletes. We offer a range of classes suitable for various sports. Sign up is through our scheduling software.
How are communications handled?
By signing up, you agree to receive communications via phone, text, and/or email including notifications and newsletters to keep you updated on important training schedule modifications, facility updates, and events. |

What are Flex Group Training Sessions?
Flex Group Training Sessions are a unique offering that allows members to participate in a diverse range of group training sessions. Depending on your membership tier, you get credits that can be utilized for these sessions each month.
How do I choose and sign up for a Flex Group Training Session?
Members can easily select and enroll in the group training discipline of their choice each month through our software. Simply pick from the available options MJB provides and use your allocated credit(s).
What's the difference between Exclusive and Regular Flex Group Sessions?
The significant difference lies in the participants. Regular sessions might include public participants, while the exclusive flex sessions are members-only, offering a smaller group size and more focused instruction. For example, Flex Hitting Sessions are exclusive to members while some Fitness classes are not.
Can I focus on just hitting in these flex sessions?
Absolutely! We offer group hitting sessions where members can build upon the skills and drills learned in private lessons, ensuring continuous skill development. Space is highly competitive in these.
Are there sessions tailored for specific times of year?
Yes, our flex group sessions cater to both off-season and in-season training needs. Off-season demand for focus on strength, speed, and agility enhancement, while in-season sessions demand more prioritized arm care and maintenance.
What about improving my defense. Do you have sessions for that?
Absolutely! Our specialized defensive training sessions are meticulously crafted to elevate every aspect of your game. Dive into intensive glove work drills, refine your footwork, perfect your transitions, and hone your throwing accuracy. Engage in cone drills designed to enhance agility and response times. Plus, benefit from countless reps off machine-thrown ground balls, simulating real-game scenarios.
What is the Rapsodo 3.0 Group Pitching Bullpen Session about?
This is a data-driven group pitching session that utilizes the Rapsodo 3.0 system to provide detailed metrics during your pitching time with the Rapsodo 3.0, such as Video Analysis, Pitch Velocity, Spin Efficiency, and much more. You can use your flex credit to join these sessions and get insights tracked on your personal profile throughout the year. Instruction in these sessions is limited so please note these are not clinic style where heavy instruction to a group takes place. (Subject to 3rd party registration through their apps)
How often do Flex Group Training Sessions take place each month?
Our Flex Group Training Sessions vary in their revolving frequency based on their nature and seasonal demand. For example, during the off-season, Hitting and Speed and Agility & Strength Classes are more frequent due to higher demand. We recommend checking our postings and scheduling software regularly for the most up-to-date session availabilities.
Can I expect a personalized experience in group training sessions?
Yes, especially for our hitting and bullpen sessions. We pride ourselves on keeping these class sizes smaller. This ensures that each member receives personalized attention, allowing for more focused reps and the attainment of individual goals. However, for other sessions like speed and agility classes, the coach-to-student ratio may be larger, catering to the group-based nature of the training while still providing quality instruction.
Given the smaller class sizes for hitting, how competitive are the slots?
Due to our commitment to quality development and ensuring that every participant gets ample reps, our hitting session slots can be quite competitive. These limited slots, combined with the smaller class size, are in usually in demand. We encourage members to book their desired sessions well in advance to secure a spot.
Are there any other factors affecting the frequency of sessions?
We always aim to meet the needs of our members and will adapt to the demand. While seasonality plays a significant role in determining the frequency of our sessions, member feedback and higher demand can also influence our scheduling. We’re continually adjusting to serve our members better. Please do not hesitate to reach out as we can re-prioritize based on your feedback if needed.
What if I've used all my credits but still want to attend more flex trainings?
No worries at all! Even after you’ve used all your allocated credits, you can continue to attend both exclusive and public flex training sessions. Simply sign up at a minimal fee. Whether it’s a members-only flex training or a public session, as long as there’s room, you can purchase a slot and keep your training momentum going. Especially useful for our ‘Single’ and ‘Double’ members, who often find themselves eager for more flex training sessions, this option can be invaluable.

Absolutely! Our flex training sessions cater to various skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players. We provide clear titles and descriptions, like ‘9-12 Flex Training’ or ‘Developmental Training’, to help you choose and then you can use your credits on those as they arise.
